Terms and Conditions.

Effective date: 30 July 2026

1. About these Terms

These Website Terms and Conditions apply to your access to and use of the VUCA Risk website at www.vucarisk.com, including its pages, forms, downloadable resources and other online content.

The website is operated by:

VUCA Risk Pty Ltd
ABN 32 664 289 927
Authorised Representative No. 1300778

In these Terms, references to “VUCA Risk”, “VUCA”, “we”, “us” or “our” mean VUCA Risk Pty Ltd.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

2. What these Terms cover

These Terms govern your use of the public VUCA Risk website.

They do not replace or form part of:

  • A VUCA Risk Membership agreement

  • An insurance policy, policy schedule or endorsement

  • A Product Disclosure Statement

  • An insurance application, quotation or proposal

  • A broker or intermediary agreement

  • A response-provider engagement

  • A partnership or referral agreement

  • Any other separate written agreement with VUCA Risk, Chase Underwriting Solutions Pty Ltd or another service provider

Separate terms may apply when you purchase, access or activate a VUCA service or insurance product.

Where there is any inconsistency, the relevant signed agreement, insurance policy, policy schedule, endorsement or other formal service document will prevail over information published on this website.

3. About VUCA Risk

VUCA Risk provides organisations with governance, escalation readiness and access to specialist response capability for workplace psychosocial incidents and business crises.

Access may be provided through:

  • VUCA Risk Membership

  • Broker-placed insurance arrangements

  • Safety Assist

  • Biz Assist

  • Approved partner or service-provider arrangements

  • Organisational readiness, onboarding and response-planning services

Certain products and services involve insurance-backed response pathways. Their availability and operation are always subject to the relevant policy terms, conditions, limits, thresholds, exclusions and activation requirements.

4. No contract is created by visiting the website

Your use of this website does not, by itself:

  • Create a client, member, insured, adviser or service-provider relationship

  • Bind insurance coverage

  • Confirm eligibility for Membership or funded response

  • Constitute acceptance of an insurance risk

  • Guarantee that an incident or claim will be covered

  • Create an obligation for VUCA Risk or a third party to provide a particular service

  • Guarantee the availability of a response provider

  • Confirm that a response activation has been accepted

A binding arrangement will only arise when it is confirmed through the applicable written agreement, policy documentation, formal quotation, acceptance process or authorised activation pathway.

5. General information only

The information on this website is general in nature.

It does not take into account your organisation’s or your personal:

  • Objectives

  • Incident circumstances

Before acting on information published on this website, you should consider whether it is appropriate for your circumstances and obtain professional advice where required.

Nothing on the website constitutes personal financial advice.

6. Insurance information

VUCA Risk Pty Ltd is an Authorised Representative, No. 1300778, of Chase Underwriting Solutions Pty Ltd, ABN 50 156 554 808, AFSL 454344.

VUCA Risk may arrange and distribute certain insurance products for and on behalf of Chase Underwriting Solutions Pty Ltd. Insurance policies are issued by Chase Underwriting Solutions Pty Ltd.

Before making a decision about an insurance product, you should:

  • Consider whether the product is appropriate for your circumstances

  • Read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement

  • Read any applicable Supplementary Product Disclosure Statement

  • Review the policy wording, schedule, endorsements, limits and exclusions

  • Review the applicable Target Market Determination

  • Obtain advice from your insurance broker or adviser where appropriate

Insurance benefits and funded response services are subject to the applicable policy terms, conditions, limits, waiting periods, thresholds and exclusions.

Nothing on this website guarantees that:

  • Insurance will be offered

  • A policy will respond

  • A claim will be accepted

  • A particular cost will be reimbursed

  • A response activation will meet the relevant policy threshold

Chase’s current public disclosure confirms its ABN, AFSL and general-advice position.

7. Membership information

Information about VUCA Risk Membership is provided as a general overview only.

Membership inclusions, eligibility, pricing, commencement dates, response pathways and service availability may vary according to:

  • Organisation size

  • Workforce profile

  • Risk exposure

  • Agreed scope

  • Location

  • Onboarding requirements

  • Selected services

  • Applicable insurance arrangements

  • The final Membership agreement

A Membership does not guarantee that every incident, cost, request or service will be covered or funded.

The relevant Membership agreement and supporting documents will determine what is included.

8. Not an emergency service

The public website, website contact forms and ordinary email addresses are not emergency services.

They should not be used to report an immediate threat, request urgent police assistance or activate an emergency response unless you have been expressly directed to use that channel.

If there is an immediate threat to life, health or safety, contact emergency services by calling 000.

Members, insured organisations and authorised users should follow the activation instructions provided in their:

  • Membership onboarding material

  • Insurance policy documents

  • Incident-response protocol

  • Emergency contact material

  • Organisational escalation procedure

Submitting a website form or sending an ordinary email does not confirm that an incident has been received, assessed or activated through an applicable response pathway.

9. No substitute for professional advice

Website information, tools, frameworks, articles, checklists and resources are not a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Depending on the circumstances, you may need advice or assistance from:

  • A medical practitioner

  • A psychologist or mental-health professional

  • A security or protective-services professional

  • A workplace health and safety adviser

  • An investigator

  • A cyber-security specialist

  • A crisis communications adviser

VUCA Risk does not provide medical diagnosis, psychological treatment or legal advice merely by publishing information on this website.

10. Response services and third-party providers

VUCA Risk may coordinate or facilitate access to independent specialist providers.

These may include:

  • Crisis-response specialists

  • Legal advisers

  • Medical or psychological professionals

  • Investigators

  • Cyber-security specialists

  • Accommodation and transport providers

The availability of a particular provider or service may depend on:

  • The circumstances of the incident

  • Location

  • Provider availability

  • Applicable laws

  • Professional scope

  • Membership terms

  • Insurance coverage

  • Policy limits and exclusions

  • Approval or activation requirements

Some third-party providers operate independently and may require you to agree to their own terms, privacy policies, professional arrangements or engagement conditions.

References to providers, partners or professional networks on the website do not guarantee that a particular provider will be appointed or available.

11. Response times and availability

Any reference to a response time, availability period or 24/7 capability describes the intended operating model of the applicable service.

It is not an unconditional guarantee that:

  • A particular provider will respond within a specific number of minutes

  • On-site assistance will always be immediately available

  • Every service will be available in every location

  • Technology or telecommunications systems will operate without interruption

  • A response will achieve a particular result

Any formal service-level commitment will be contained in the applicable agreement, policy or response protocol.

12. Case studies and scenarios

Case studies, examples and scenarios published on this website are provided to explain how workplace incidents and response pathways may operate.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, a case study may be:

  • De-identified

  • Anonymised

  • Adapted to protect privacy

  • Based on a combination of incidents

  • Modelled for educational purposes

  • Hypothetical or illustrative

Names, identifying details, locations and circumstances may be changed.

Outcomes described in a case study do not guarantee that the same outcome will occur in another incident.

Every incident is different and will be assessed according to its own circumstances and the applicable service or policy terms.

13. Accuracy of website information

We take reasonable steps to ensure information published on the website is accurate and current.

However, workplace regulation, insurance arrangements, service networks, pricing, legislation and professional guidance can change.

You are responsible for determining whether a resource is appropriate for your organisation and whether it requires modification, professional review or approval before use.

20. Information submitted through the website

You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorised to provide it.

General website forms should not be used to submit detailed sensitive incident information unless requested by VUCA Risk.

When making an initial enquiry, provide only the information reasonably necessary for us to contact you and understand the general nature of your request.

Sending information through a website form or email does not, by itself:

  • Create a professional retainer

  • Confirm insurance coverage

  • Activate an incident response

  • Guarantee confidentiality beyond applicable legal and privacy obligations

  • Require VUCA Risk to act before an engagement or activation has been accepted

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

21. Confidential and sensitive information

Where VUCA Risk has accepted an engagement, activation or contractual obligation, confidentiality will be managed in accordance with:

  • Applicable law

  • The Privacy Policy

25. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right, guarantee, condition, warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Where goods or services are supplied to a person who is entitled to consumer guarantees, those guarantees continue to apply.

Any exclusion or limitation in these Terms operates only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Consumer guarantees apply automatically where the Australian Consumer Law applies and cannot be removed by a business’s terms.

The current version will be published on this page with its effective date.

Changes will apply from the date they are published and will not retrospectively alter a separate agreement or insurance policy.
